PTFE Coated TCK Aramid Fabrics

Composed of woven aramid fabrics coated with PTFE, Versiv TCK products are stronger and more flex resistant than PTFE-coated fiberglass fabrics.

Used in belt applications and fabrics where high tensile and tear resistance are essential, TCK Coated Aramid is ideal for moist environments. The material is extremely resistant to strength loss after flex folding and lighter weight styles retain their strength.

Features and Benefits of PTFE Coated TCK Aramid Fabrics

Woven aramid fabrics with exceptional qualities of durability, flexibility and versatility. Coated or laminated with PTFE, it is ideally suited to applications requiring the highest levels of tear and tensile resistance.
Highly customisable product: Internally woven styles can be tailor-made for any unique application.
Ideal use around small nip rollers and are ideal for belts in high-moisture environments where high strength is essential.

Common Applications

Dryer belts
This product is typically used as a dryer conveyor belt for delicate fabrics in the textiles and non-woven industries. The aramid fabrics makes the belt capable of withstanding the tension, weight, and stress associated with drying processes, especially in heavy-duty industrial settings.

Small nip rollers
KPTFE-coated aramid is used as small nip rollers in various industrial applications, such as printing, laminating and material handling.

Belts in moist/wet environments
‍PTFE-coated aramid has a higher degree of resistance than glass. This resistance helps prevent the material from absorbing moisture, which can weaken traditional belt materials like fabric.
