Tear Resistant

Features and Benefits of Antistatic and Tear Resistant PTFE Coated Fabrics

  • Designed for tricky conveyor belt and ATEX area applications.
  • Antistatic coating and tear resistant fiberglass fabrics offer optimum performance.
  • Regulatory compliant: Meet multiple compliance requirements, including
    2002/95/EC RoHS I, 2011/65/EU RoHS II & 2015/863/EU RoHS III.
  • Mechanically resilient: High resistance to flexing.
  • Excellent chemical resistance.
  • A non-stick surface for a good release.
  • Mechanically stable and perform consistently at temperatures up to 260°C (500°F).
Common Applications
Demanding conveyor belt applications
Consistently reliable where the ability to withstand wear and tear is crucial. These quality anti-static coatings also reduce potential for sparks, enabling safety.
Conveyor belt edging
Edges are subjected to more friction and mechanical stress than the rest of the belt, so tear resistance helps prolong the lifespan of the edging material.

Rigorous testing standards
Versiv develops custom application testing based on each of our partner’s product uses in order to create the best possible solution. Some tests that are included but are not limited to environmental, durability, and reliability testing to give you peace of mind making sure that products work in the harshest environments. Our testing begins during the co-development process to develop relevant tests and gather data that allows us to create market-ready solutions quickly.
Some of our tests:
  • FTMS 191A-5041

  • FTMS 191A-5030

  • FTMS 191A-5102

  • FTMS 191A-5136

  • ASTM D149-81
